Our Environment – Energy and Waste

For Ages: 9+ years This series is designed to assist teachers in the implementation of an outcomes based approach to the teaching of Society and Environment / SOSE / HSIE . The series is divided into five sections including land, air, water, energy and waste, each of which contains activities which provide practical experiences in focusing on and monitoring environmental concerns within the community. Titles in the series include: - Land - Water and Air - Waste and Energy Book 3 Waste and Energy has energy activities that focus on sources of energy, solar, electrical, water and wind energy; lighting; heating/cooling; and energy conservation.
