Literacy Assigments for the Primary Years helps to develop language basics for students in Years 5 and 6. The classroom worksheets can also be given to students in higher grades or to younger students who are ahead of their peers. The areas covered in the book are: using apostrophes, plurals, the present and past tense, nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions, punctuation, spelling, homophones, homonyms, commonly confusing words, suffixes, sentence writing and opposties.

Each worksheet is graded from A to E. The worksheets get progressively harder as they work their way towards E. To make life easy for the teacher, the answers are provided at the back of the book.
